Axicon Verifier

Specifically designed for use with thermal printers, the Axicon In-Line Verifier utilises CCD imaging technology to provide full ISO grade verification. Identifying common problems such as damaged or dirty printheads, media movement, ribbon creasing light margin, infringements, data content & format errors. A report on the quality of every bar code is displayed instantly on-screen alerting the operator to any deterioration in quality.

The Axicon 6025-S is designed for all bar codes where a 4, 5, 6,10 or 20mil aperture is mandatory up to a maximum width of 68 mm including quiet zones. The simple-to-use design reduces user error and eliminates product damage whilst providing the highest level of accuracy achievable for verification.

The Axicon Laetus is a dedicated application to check print quality of Laetus Pharmcodes. These codes, used mostly on pharmaceutical packaging, cannot, by construction, be auto discriminated. Besides the symbology does not have a decode algorithm. For these reasons, the Laetus Pharmacode symbology can't be integrated to our standard Axicon verifier software and the ISO/IEC 15415 print quality standard cannot be applied. Therefore a specific application was created by our engineers. It is a verification module on its own, that applies the Laetus Pharmacode Specifications requirements for print quality.

As an extension to the range of very popular 7000 seies verifiers, Axicon now offer these with a choice of IP (Industrial Protection) ratings. The 7025-S-IP is designed for all barcodes where a 10 or 20mil aperture is mandatory (such as UCC/EAN-128 and ITF-14), up to 7.68" (195 mm) width including quiet zones. The simple to use design reduces user error and eliminates product damage while providing the highest level of accuracy achievable for verification. The "S" range of Axicon verifiers have a "Continuous Scan" feature.

The Axicon 15500 barcode verifier is designed to read both linear and two dimensional matrix barcodes simultaneously. All the symbols seen in its field of view are verified individually, and the user simply selects each barcode in turn to see the specific results. The field of view - 95 mm by 70 mm - is the world's largest for a handheld 2D barcode verifier. Linear and 2D barcodes are verified in accordance with the appropriate ISO/IEC standard, with linear barcodes being sampled ten times from top to bottom.
