Corded Barcode Scanner connect directly to your PC or laptop through a cable. USB is the most common connection, but serial (RS232), PS/2, and specialized connections are also available. Corded Scanner are available with laser, CCD, and imager options to read any type of barcode. These are the most commonly used and cost effective option to add scanning to any application.
