Bogen's Talkback Module is designed to be used with high-powered central amplifiers to provide talkback paging in zones with passive speakers. The module incorporates a noise reduction switch to mute background noise when there is no significant audio activity in the zone being monitored. A talkback delay control and a talkback volume control are also provided.

The Bogen VAR1 Voice-Activated Relay is a DPDT relay device that is activated when an audio signal is detected at the microphone pre-amp or at 70V, 25V, or 600-ohm line level inputs. A slide switch is included to select the pre-amp or the line inputs. The VOX detect circuit also includes volume, sensitivity, and delay controls. The audio output is an isolated 600-ohm transformer. The unit operates from a DC power source. Its applications include muting a sound system in response to a microphone or telephone page, activation of accessory security equipment or activation of a zone paging module.

Bogen's VMIX Power Vector Mixer-Pre-Amplifier is an 8-channel mixer/pre-amplifier, offering a wide variety of operational features and functions for superior audio performance. Eight module bays accept plug-in input modules, allowing up to four levels of priority between modules. Two module bays are capable of accepting signal processing plug-in output modules. Each module is controlled by an independent volume control with an associated LED for signal status. Other characteristics include Resettable circuit breaker, PVMC module security covers, Power indicator and Motorized master volume control with remote control. The VMIX Power Vector Mixer-Pre-Amplifier is ideal for various applications including foreground music, background music and paging.
