Datalogic's decoders are hardware and firmware systems that analyze sensor input data and decode this into the data encoded in the barcode label. The hardware portion can be a dedicated processing system, or the processor used for the entire customer system. In the former case, specific decoding and control firmware is embedded into the hardware processor. In the latter case, the firmware is loaded into the host processor. This firmware can be provided by Datalogic or by the integrator.
