The TWN4 MultiTech 2 reader with HID iCLASS offers integrated RFID (LF & HF) and NFC in a desktop housing. USB or RS-232 interfaces are available providing easy connection to a host device. Elatec's TWN4 family of RFID readers and writers allows users to read and write to almost any 125 kHz, 134.2 kHz and 13.56 MHz RFID tag and/or label.

Elatec's TWN4 Family allows users to read and write to almost any 125kHz/134.2kHz and 13.56 MHz tags and/or labels. It supports all major transponders from various suppliers like ATMEL, EM, ST, MIFARE NXP, TI, HID, LEGIC, etc. and ISO standards like ISO14443A/B including layer 4 (T=CL), ISO15693, ISO18092 / ECMA-340 (NFC).

The USB connection provides both power and the Human Interface Device protocol, so no driver installation is needed. Thus, it works on any operating system just as a keyboard or mouse does. Plug the reader in and your PC or device will automatically recognize the reader. When registering or enrolling a badge number into the software, simply place the cursor in the badge number field and present the badge to the reader.

TCPConv enables the addition of a device that is equipped with a USB- or RS232-interface into your local area network (LAN). A typical application is the extension of a network device (eg. a network printer) by a local peripheral device. Simply insert TCPConv into the existing LAN connection of your device. In order to do so, TCPConv contains 2 LAN ports, which operate as a network switch.

Elatec's TWN4 MultiTech 2 HF and TWN4 MultiTech 2 M HF readers/writers allow users to read and write to almost any 13.56 MHz tags and/or labels. They support all major transponder technologies from various suppliers like EM, Fujitsu, ST, NXP, TI etc. and ISO standards like ISO14443A/B (T=CL), ISO15693, ISO18092 / ECMA-340 (NFC). The latter is supported by mobile phones with Android version 4.3 or greater. The readers provide a powerful API which enables system integrators and solution providers to develop complex applications which can be run directly on the reader. Furthermore, these applications as well as custom configurations can be applied wireless to the readers without plugging them out from the current infrastructure. This can be achieved by using a TWN4 Configuration Card and is a time-saving feature in large projects.
