The TWN4 MultiTech 2 -P enrollment reader with HID Prox offers integrated RFID (LF & HF) and NFC and BLE in a desktop housing. USB or RS-232 interfaces are available providing easy connection to a host device. Elatec's TWN4 family of RFID readers and writers allows users to read and write to almost any 125 kHz, 134.2 kHz and 13.56 MHz employee RFID badge, fob, and NFC and BLE smartphone mobile ID. The USB connection provides both power and the Human Interface Device protocol, so no driver installation is needed. Thus, it works on any operating system just as a keyboard or mouse does. Plug the reader in and your PC or device will automatically recognize the reader. When registering or enrolling a badge number into the software, simply place the cursor in the badge number field and present the badge to the reader.
