MultiTech's Device Server provides a powerful ability to IP-enable serial devices allowing more options for data acquisition, device management, and industrial control than would otherwise be available. Its serial interface supports DTE speeds up to 230Kbps. The Device Server features embedded TCP/IP stack and supports a central-site setup and control of the remote adapters via the command line interface or telnet. It is available in desktop and panel mounting versions.
