Newland's MT6550 is designed with a rugged housing, sealed with IP65 standards for protection against dust and water and can withstand drops of up to 1.2m (3.9 ft) to concrete. Equipped with Newland's fifth-generation UIMG technology that allows the MT6550 the ability to decode poor quality barcodes. The extended battery provides battery life of up to 10 hours.
