The Symbol LS9208i has the same great features plus a few improvements over the original LS9208. The new louder beeper offers improved feedback even in the busiest environments. Power is increased from 70dBA to 85dBA translating to a volume more then twice that of the current product. Improved optics increase performance allowing higher density barcodes to be read (down to 4 mil). Remote Scanner Management (RSM) support on the LS9208i helps customers reduce operational costs by centralizing scanner deployment and management including configuration parameter changes and firmware updates.
