The ST8310 contains communications support for traditional PC COM ports for PC-POS applications, many PC and video terminal keyboards in a Keyboard wedge mode, as well as support for communications with many credit authorization terminals, including Hypercom TM, Data Card TM, Verifone Tranz TM, and ZON TM series products. The ST8310 was developed to specifically help retail and financial systems integrators become more flexible in their data capture capability. The ST8310 can adapt to a variety of applications, giving the integrator the ability to better control fraud, as well as further enhance customer service.

The MSR213E is one of the MSR213 Series of Magnetic Stripe Readers with additional security features of Triple Data Encryption Standard (TDES) encryption and Derived Unique Key Per Transaction (DUKPT) key management. It is powered from the USB port eliminating the need for external power. The MSR213E operates in Keyboard Emulation, Virtual COM Interface and UIC defined Human interface Device (HID) modes.

The MSR213V was specifically designed for retail, time keeping, security and other card reader related systems. The MSR213V communicates with a host computer via USB interface, and reads and converts magnetic stripe data to USB (Virtual COM). It is a manual swipe, bi-directional reader that supports both high and low coercivity magnetic stripes (300 - 4000 Oe) reading. It has built-in capability for firmware download and LED and beeper for reading status. It is reliable for over a million swipes and it fully conforms to FCC Class B, CE Class B.
