Developed for industrial environments
The Zebra 4Sight EV7 is an advanced industrial system perfectly configured for multi-camera machine vision applications in factory settings. Backed by a robust history, this model integrates a twelfth-generation twelve-core Intel Core™ processor offering deep learning acceleration. Its fanless design and multitude of ports for GigE Vision® and USB3 Vision® cameras ensure it operates smoothly in both single-line and multi-line production environments.
Efficiently support numerous camera setups
Equipped with four 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and four SuperSpeed USB ports, the Zebra 4Sight EV7 vision controllers can seamlessly connect to an array of GigE Vision and USB3 Vision cameras. The 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports featuring PoE further ease cable management, making it cost-effective when paired with GigE Vision cameras. Its mobile-class embedded processor excels in managing complex multi-camera inspection processes.
Interfacing with factory and corporate equipment
Zebra 4Sight EV7 vision controllers provide easy connectivity with various industrial and enterprise systems. Enjoy support for legacy devices via RS-232/RS-485 ports, and leverage two additional Gigabit Ethernet ports for separate industrial and business networks. One networking port includes hardware-assisted PROFINET® communication, ensuring swift responses for high-demand factory operations.
Designed for rugged industrial use
The fanless design of the Zebra 4Sight EV7 reduces the necessity for regular upkeep, negating the need for air filter or fan replacements. Its hardy exterior and versatile installation options (both horizontal and vertical) cater to space-constrained, challenging environments. Each component is carefully chosen to ensure long-term reliability, maximizing return on the initial investment.
Real-time management of discrete I/Os
Zebra 4Sight EV7 features dedicated hardware-assisted mechanisms for real-time discrete I/O management, guaranteeing precise execution of output events. Input events can be triggered from discrete inputs or encoders, with processing done via a hardware list to ensure specific transitions, pulses, or states on discrete outputs. Multi-stage hardware timers further support event generation and counting, synchronizing vision applications with production lines effectively.
Pre-installed with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise
The EV7 comes pre-installed with Microsoft® Windows® 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 (64-bit), offering familiar performance and reliability along with Unified Write Filter (UWF) to protect against data corruption from sudden power-downs. It supports multiple languages to accommodate diverse user needs.
Robust application development software
The Zebra 4Sight EV7 supports the Aurora Imaging Library1, a comprehensive SDK with over 25 years of solid performance, providing interactive software and programming for image capture, processing, and analysis tasks. Additionally, it is available with Aurora Design Assistant1, an adaptable IDE that utilizes flowcharts for application development, complete with a built-in HTML editor for custom web interfaces. Detailed information on these applications can be found in their respective datasheets.
